Beginners Lessons
Here at Mount Dandy Driving School we specialise in nervous, beginner drivers. We have access to an off road facility for those who feel they are not confident to start on public roads with traffic.
We can teach you how to fill out your log book correctly to avoid complications on test day. We teach at your pace within your capabilities as your confidence grows.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
Do you feel confident enough to teach your child in your car?
Do you know how and what you should be teaching your child to do and look out for?
We welcome and encourage you, the parents, to come out with your child as they learn with us. We can teach you how to teach your child to assist you with giving them more time practising what they learn with us. We like to work with you to hopefully achieve the common goal of producing a better, safer driver for our roads enabling us all to get a better nights sleep when they are out on their own.
We believe that by getting regular good quallity lessons whilst your learning is an investment in the rest of your driving life. It gives you a better basis to start your real on road lessons once you've obtained your probationary licence and your on your own.
Seniors Refresher
No matter if your planning a holiday, driving locally, expecting your first grandchild or you just want to extend your driving skills to keep yourself driving for longer.

City Drive
Do you know how to enter a freeway safely?

During our City Run we teach you to enter and exit from freeways, change lanes, experience hook turns, drive amongst trams and let you accomplish driving over the westgate bridge.
Hit the Road
Here at Mt Dandy Driving School we go that little bit further for our drivers. Our aim is make our drivers feel as comfortable on the road as possible and that is why we offer a course in basic car maintenance. We teach you basic maintence and prevention of excessive wear with your vehicle and explain how this can affect your driving experience.

Defensive Driving
What is Defensive Driving?
Defensive Driving is: Being able to look ahead at the traffic, analise what may or may not happen. Being able to use this information to safley plan your trip with the least amount of stress for all road users, with the least amount of wear and tear on your car.
What is Advanced Driving?
Advanced driving is: Having the knowledge of how to control your vehicle in an emergency situation.
In all of our lessons we encourage defensive driving and teach our students how to plan for multipal outcomes from the same situation. We believe by teaching this from the onset it will lesson the chance of our clients panicking in an emergency situation.
We are members of a team who teach Advanced Driving at Metec an off road complex.

Mountain Drive
Do you know when to and when not to brake on sharp bends?
Do you know when to and when not to accelerate on sharp bends?
Do you know how to steer on sharp bends?
Do you know what straight lining a bend means?
By utalising our vast driving experiences we have designed a special mountain run that we are fast becomming famous for.
When we teach you the art of cornering safley in all weather conditions you can rest assured that your driving skills will improve enormously.
This is a run that is a must to experience.
Words are yet to describe it, though many have tried with words such as
"Awesome", "Fantastic", "Thrilling" and "Loved it".
"When can I do it again?" Is the most common question asked.
Driving Test
The Drive test is the test conducted by a Vic Roads licenced Testing Officer to determine your driving capabilities.
What do I get for my money?
- We pick you up, from school, work or home, give you a 90 min refresher lesson.
- Run through the test procedures prior to being tested with you.
- Accompany you in our vehicle on the test.
- Wait while you get your licence processed.
- Take you back to school, work or home.
